After much contemplation, in the spirit of trying to “flatten the curve” and keep you safe, I have made the very difficult but appropriate decision to suspend all in-person appointments, effective March 17th until April 1st, 2020.
My office will be physically closed during this time for supplement pickups or any other in-person inquiries. I will be working Monday to Friday during this time doing phone consults with patients, checking emails and phone messages for any enquiries you may have remotely.
To prevent a halt in your Naturopathic Program, I am offering Phone Consults in place of visits to continue supporting you through your health challenges and solutions that are not related to COVID-19.
** Any COVID symptoms of cough, shortness of breath, fever, and runny nose require you to call 811 in Alberta for appropriate medical attention.
You have the choice to reschedule your appointment during this time if you would prefer an in-office visit at a later date, please let me know via email at email@example.com.
How Phone Consults Work
These are for your usual health concerns and not for COVID related symptoms.

To continue on your wholistic journey steps we’ve outlined in previous visits, we will talk over the phone for your follow-up appointment from the comfort of your home. We will assess your health needs and create the next steps together for your naturopathic treatment plan. If there is clinical information I deem necessary to do for a physical exam, I will let you know before I give you treatment advice. We will decide this together of how we handle this. At the end of the phone appointment, if you don’t need a physical exam, I will scan and email you your Supplement/Diet/Lifestyle recommendation sheet as I normally provide at the end of your visit. We will charge your credit card and then email you a receipt.
To continue your Naturopathic Supplement program support, you can order directly through my online dispensary with Fullscript. After each visit, I send out a prescription from Fullscript that allows you to order. Please check your email to find this. If you cannot find it or if there is something that is missing from your prescription, please email me (firstname.lastname@example.org) so that I can add it to Fullscript or find a replacement for you.
At this time, I am halting in-office sales of supplements and relying on the use of Fullscript to decrease exposure to our community, patients, clinicians and staff. No worries! If you need anything, we will find a solution for you. Please email me and let me know if you have any concerns.
The health of my patients, staff, and our community is my primary concern. I am taking these measures to follow along with health officials’ suggestions to keep exposure low and “flatten the curve.”
I strive to continue to stay abreast of this situation and make changes as necessary based on the recommendations of federal and provincial health officials who are working to slow this pandemic.

My goal is always to protect the health of my patients and community, and find ways to make any situation a win-win! Phone consults seem to be the best fit as of right now!
