There are many naturopathic solutions for stress, anxiety, and depression.
I invite you to learn more about how I treat these health issues naturally.
Naturopathic medicine offers many therapies and treatment options to help you deal with mental health issues, including stress, anxiety, and depression.
I offer a naturopathic approach to stress relief, and treating depression and anxiety, and I have a uniquely gentle and caring attitude toward my patients, as I recognize that everyone heals in different ways.
We live in a world full of stress, but remarkably, we all differ in how we perceive this stress, and everyone manages stress in their own unique way.
With that in mind, when working with you, first and foremost, I’ll learn how you deal with stress and assess where your weaknesses are.
Then we can work on those weaknesses to strengthen your ability to cope with and adapt to stress.
What’s more, I look at stressors you may not even realize are affecting you, like:
We’ll then work together to create a naturopathic plan to address these stressors.
When you’re ready to work through these, support can come from many sources, including:
Anxiety is a common condition that can be severely debilitating to your lifestyle.
I have a special interest in working with people who have anxiety, and through years of learning about anxiety and treating it, I have a deep understanding of how it affects the body from a physical and emotional perspective.
I’ve learned how to recognize the triggers of anxiety, including mental and emotional triggers, nutritional deficiencies, hormonal imbalances, and neurotransmitter deficiencies.
My approach to treating anxiety involves educating you about the physiological responses in the body that take place during anxiety and then working on how we can alleviate those responses through the use of anxiety management techniques like meditation, along with calming herbal, nutritional, and homeopathic remedies.
It’s also imperative to deal with underlying triggers by doing things like balancing blood sugar, and addressing nutritional deficiencies, including co-factors for the production of serotonin, along with other neurotransmitters that can help quell your anxiety.
My approach to naturopathic treatment for anxiety is two-fold:
1) To provide acute relief to help you cope with the severe and even constant anxiety that you deal with in your daily life.
2) To address underlying factors, including perimenopausal hormonal shifts, that are causing anxiety so you can heal fully and, over time, feel optimally well and anxiety-free.
Naturopathic medicine offers many therapies and treatment options for depression.
Over the years, I’ve worked with a lot of people who have depression, and I use a multi-faceted approach to treat it.
In doing so, I’ll explore the underlying causes of why depression is affecting you, and examine all the potential reasons for it, including:
In my clinical experience, in order to get optimal results when treating anxiety and depression, I’ve found that it’s best for my patients to work with both me and a mental health practitioner.
I can give you calming remedies or supplements for mood but looking deeper into the mental and emotional component will give you additional insight into why you’re experiencing these issues and help you learn how to cope with anxiety and depression.
It’s also a beautiful learning journey about yourself and what you can do to manage your anxiety and/or mood.
Over the years, I’ve built a network of psychologists in my area whom I trust, and we’ve worked extensively on many mutual cases.
If need be, I can refer you to one of these psychologists, so we can have a team approach to your health and ensure you’re getting the best care you possibly can.
But if you’re already working with or know of a psychologist whom you feel comfortable with, I’d be happy to work with them and let them know what we’re doing naturopathically.
